Nyt album fra Othala ude nu.
Tiltrækkende og mystisk neofolk/atmosfærisk musik.
Efter 4 år i dvale er der igen lyd fra Othala. "Når alting er glemt" er den første rigtige udgivelse fra os, efter to demo album.
"NAEG" er udgivet af det tjekkiske selskab "Ravenheart" og udkommer i et oplag på 1000 stk.
Temaet på dette album er død, eftermæle, tab og følelsen af at miste. Med de velkendte melankolske toner og monotone vokaler er det lige i Othalas ånd. På dette album er der en større afveksling i numrene end tidligere, i form af mere rockede og svingende numre, tempoet er også sat op i flere af numrene.
Vi har på denne cd fået hjælp til den kvindelige vokal af Nanna Barslev, kendt fra bl.a. Gny.
På trommer har vi Oliver Holm med, som er en god ven af os.

Captivating and mystical neo-folk/atmospheric music.
After a four-year hiatus Othala proudly present new material. Når Alting Er Glemt is the first proper full-length album after two demo releases from the Danish duo. NAEG is issued by the Czech record company Ravenheart and is released in 1.000 copies.
The overall themes on this record are death, inheritance, loss and the feelings related hereto. With the well-known melancholy notes and monotonous vocal-lines it’s an album in keeping with the spirit of the duo. There is greater diversity between the album tracks compared to Othala’s earlier releases, most notably in the form of a more rock-orientated and ‘swing’-like approach. Likewise, there is also a comparatively higher tempo on several of the tracks on the album.
For the female vocals on NAEG, Othala collaborated with Nanna Barslev, known from her work with Gny (a.o.), while Oliver Holm, who is a good friend of the band, contributed on drums.
